Supplement #1 to Application for a Foreign Air Carrier Permit 

ATR plans to initiate service with a wet-leased DC-8-62F from Trans Continental Airlines, Inc. Commencing in August 1996, Trans Continental will supply ATR with the aircraft for one (1) flight per week. Under the terms of the Wet-Lease ACMI Agreement, Trans Continental shall provide the aircraft and the crew; carry and maintain Aircraft Liability Insurance, Comprehensive General Liability Insurance and Cargo Liability Insurance; and perform maintenance. ATR will not have sole and exclusive use of the aircraft. Trans Continental may employ the aircraft in unrelated service during the term of the Agreement.

Aerocomercial de Transporte y Rutas, S.A. respectfully requests that the Department of Transportation supplement its Application for a Foreign Air Carrier permit to the extent necessary to include Supplement Exhibit ATR-5. In the alternative, ATR requests such other, further, or different relief as the Department may deem necessary and proper.
