This renewal application is based upon the Air Transport Agreement between the United States and Fiji entered into force definitively on October 11, 1979, and the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Fiji, dated October 25, 1985, which authorizes an airline designated by the Government of Fiji to operate "from Fiji to Honolulu and beyond to Portland, Oakland, Seattle, Denver, or Los Angeles...."
