Issued October 26, 1998 Served October 30, 1998 |
High Density Rule, O'Hare | |
| Appendix A: Slots to be Transferred |
By this order, the Department is approving the joint applications of Great Lakes Aviation and Atlantic Coast Airlines (ACA) to transfer 10 slot exemptions at Chicago O'Hare Airport (six for service to Fargo and four for Sioux Falls) from Great Lakes to ACA, effective on or about December 15. Pursuant to this authorization, Great Lakes' current service of three nonstop round trips a day in the Fargo-O'Hare market will be upgraded from its 30-seat Brasilias to ACA's 50-seat regional jets. In the Sioux Falls-O'Hare market, Great Lakes currently operates four nonstop round trips a day with 30-seat Brasilias. It will, for now, continue to operate two of those round trips in conjunction with Huron, and the other two will be replaced by 50-seat regional jet services by ACA.
