The resulting projections are fuel prices on January 1, 1999, of 43.73 cents per gallon in the Atlantic, 47.74 cents per gallon in Latin America and 50.97 cents per gallon in the Pacific. Unit non-fuel costs for the 12 months ended September 30, 1998 increased 1.38 percent for the Atlantic Entity, decreased 1.24 percent for the Latin American Entity and increased 3.96 percent for the Pacific Entity over the year ended September 30, 1997.
