The renewal should extend for an indefinite period subject to the normal 90-day dormancy provision. The current expiration date of August 29, 1998. United presently uses these frequencies to provide daily service in the U.S.-Kiev market under a code-share arrangement with Lufthansa German Airlines ("Lufthansa").

United operates this service under a code-share arrangement with Lufthansa Airlines.
