OST-98-4520 September 30, 1998 pdficon.gif (87 bytes)Application for an Emergency Exemption Boston, MA - San Juan, Puerto Rico
Service List

The devastation caused by Hurricane Georges has left much of Puerto Rico without power. In order to restore power to certain facilities as quickly as possible, it is critical that power generating units be immediately transported to Puerto Rico by air. Some power generating units, however, are too large to fit into any firefighter aircraft operated by U.S. carriers. Accordingly, Antonov has received requests from numerous U.S. charterers to transport such generators to San Juan using its AN 124-100 aircraft.
