Joint Application of Air Canada and Scandinavian Airlines System for Amendment of Statements of Authorization Under 14 C.F.R. Section 212 request the Department to amend the statements of authorization issued by Order 98-1-4, to provide a blanket authorization to SAS to code-share on any transborder service currently operated or to be operated by Air Canada, and to permit Air Canada to Code-share on any flight operated or to be operated by SAS from any point in the United States to any point in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.   Because SAS intends to introduce a new Toronto-Copenhagen code-share service as of May 1, 1999, and because SAS and Air Canada intend to begin advance marketing and sale of their expanded code-share opportunities at the earliest possible date, SAS and Air Canada request that the Department grant the amended statements of authorization as soon as possible but no later than February 17 1999.
