The cargo payload to be transported by Avialeasing from Miami to Los Angeles consisted of two parts for a thrust reverser for an Atlas Airlines aircraft that was in need of immediate repair in Los Angeles, California with the total weight of approximately 1,6001bs. The two thrust reverser parts measure 120" x 88" x 64" and 84" x 84" x 19" respectively. The largest part should have been transported in the upright position, and could not be accommodated by any domestic commercial carrier aircraft other than 13747, Hercules, and DC 10 aircraft, none of which were available for the required date.
