Hereby applies to the United States of America for renewal of its Foreign Air Carrier Permit for on-demand charter foreign air transportation between the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the USA. The Cherokee Air Permit was amended to accept the small-aircraft limitation as defined in the 1999 Amendment. The Cherokee Air Permit (as amended) now expires on May 7, 2001

Kindly add the following language to the Cherokee Docket relative to the Cherokee FACP, as required by the Code of Federal Regulations ("CFR"):
"As required by 14 CFR 211.21(a) for renewal of the Cherokee FACP, this letter will serve to affirm, as required by 14 CFR 211.20(s) that Cherokee Air has not, during the preceding five years, been involved in any safety or tariff violations, nor fatal accidents."

By application filed April 26, 2001, as supplemented, Cherokee Air requests that we renew its existing foreign air carrier permit to conduct charter foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between the Bahamas and Florida, with small aircraft (i.e.. aircraft designed to have a maximum passenger capacity of not more than 60 seats or a maximum payload capacity of not more than 18,000 pounds).
