By this Order, the U.S. Department of Transportation is: (1) prohibiting Boutique Air, Inc. from terminating its Essential Air Service at Carlsbad, New Mexico, and requiring that it continue the level of service required under Order 2021-3-11 until a replacement air carrier inaugurates EAS at the community, and (2) requesting proposals from air carriers interested in providing EAS at Carlsbad, New Mexico, for a new contract term beginning within 60 to 90 days of the Department’s issuance of a carrier selection order, with or without subsidy.
