Comment from Mary Urban

I read the Commenter's checklist. As far as science goes, we all know what effects noise has on the cardio vascular system. This has been proven over and over. We should not have to submit anymore proof to the FAA on that. They know full well how this affects people. I can't fully relax, I can't enjoy my own backyard anymore, I can't enjoy outdoor hobbies either at my house or around many places around the front range due to air plane traffic. Walks in the park have been ruined by incessant jets as well as general aviation. I find I am not taking full breaths anymore. Do you know what that does? Of course you do, you fully know the studies. Helicopters, jets, small airplanes have increased dramatically, and fly low, even sometimes at 11pm in the evening, when working people, school children, perhaps terminally ill people, or just people with the flu, elderly, etc. are trying to fall asleep. Then, you sometimes start to hear them at 5:30am. Countless complaints have been issued to Centennial Airport just to fall on deaf ears. DIA now flies commercial jets sometimes as low as 11k to 12k feet, sometimes less, even though I am miles away from DIA and they have much time to gain altitude. They don't follow the highway, they fly south right over houses. We were lied to by the FAA about Metroplex, they said it would make little difference from before. Well, that's an outright lie. It's insane how many jets now fly over parks and over my house for several hours straight, not gaining much elevation at all from DIA. You say to be "concise to support my claims" Do you want to know how hard my heart pounds sometimes? Do you want the exact number of beat increases? I find it very insulting that even after years of all kinds of proof you want us to "be scientific", when all you have to do is turn to the vast amounts of research that has been done on noise effects. Depression, lack of motivation, anxiety, hopelessness, I experience all of those - or do you need something more "scientific"? We have submitted hundreds of complaints about how our quality of life has decreased by endless noise, and you say present opposing views? Opposing views to what? This isn't a debate. You don't understand how miserable you've made people. I now hate airports, planes, and anything having to do with aviation. I never felt like this before, but after getting bombarded almost daily for the last seven years, I have PTSD. Also, the fact that this industry pollutes endlessly, and causes huge degradation of life, and yet we are forced to pay money to subsidize this, is criminal. It's like someone forcing you to pay them for beating on you. My screenshots indicate planes at Centennial Airport, I thought the limit of planes was six in the pattern, but they managed to stuff eleven planes from this screenshot into that one area. The other screenshot is of two planes, flying just 100 feet apart, I followed the tracks all the way to Aurora, and they were flying either side by side, or on top of each other, clearly flying together. How many violations does Centennial Airport have? And does the FAA even look into this? I could go on for days in this comment. There is no "opposing view" just daily torture. I have lived in the vicinity of CA for over 30 years, yet before 2016, there was no problem, then in May of 2016 it's again, almost daily torture. Again, this isn't a debate. It's just plain criminal torture from the effects of Metroplex, and Centennial Airport, and then all the FAA and the airports do, is go back and forth pointing the finger of blame. I think both of you are to blame, and we need rules and regulations NOW.
